I have always been a Supreme Court junkie and for a long time thought I would attend law school. Instead, inspired by Professor Maureen Manion at St. Norbert College, I became an academic. I earned my PhD in 1999 from Michigan State University, studying under the great Harold J. Spaeth. My first job was at the University of New Orleans, which I loved, and I came to UWM in 2001, bringing me back home to Wisconsin. I teach courses on the Supreme Court, the constitution, law and society, and research methods.  My husband, two children, and I have put down roots in our community of Port Washington and we love #ourhomeport. I’ve designed this page to disseminate my research. Please download my papers, read them, send me comments on them, and cite them! More is always on the way.
