Makerspace

Welcome to the Makerspace, a place where students from our college can work solo or in a group to bring a project idea to life. We encourage creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and hands-on learning to put theory into practice, to test ideas that interest you, and to build things because you can. It’s fun!

This creative and flexible workspace is free to use and open to all students in our college regardless of their major. The Makerspace is equipped with 3D printers, a milling machine, lathe, drill press, microscope, soldering stations, electronics equipment, configurable workbenches, and multiple hand tools provided by Milwaukee Tool. Staff is available to train you on how to use equipment, and help you find additional resources if you need them.

Enter the Makerspace from EMS E173 (entrance from the lobby) or W133 (entrance from the west hallway).
