November 11, 2012 – Waukesha, WI.  First Lego League (FLL) introduces younger students to real-world engineering challenges by building LEGO-based robots to complete tasks on a thematic playing surface. FLL teams, guided by their imaginations and adult coaches, discover exciting career possibilities and, through the process, learn to make positive contributions to society.

June 2011 – Indianapolis Motor Speedway. American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) at UW – Milwaukee took home second place overall among more than 40 schools in the ASME-sponsored Human Powered Vehicle Competition.

Amateur-Build Aircraft Presentation – EAA Chapter 838
Jan. 2010 – Racine, WI. Presentation on building a Zenith CH-801 amateur-build aircraft. Talk included thoughts on airplane selection, building experiences to date, cross-sectional and microhardness testing done to sectioned rivets and the surface appearance after using a commercial deburring tool.
