Cramer St. University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Milwaukee, WI 53211 Office: EMS 1195 Tel: (414) 229 – 5889 E-mail: ranji@uwm.edu Mahsa Ranji received a PhD degree in 2007 in Electrical Engineering from University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia) for her studies on fluorescence spectroscopy and imaging of cardiovascular diseases. She then joined Sanford Burnham Institute for Medical Research/UCSD bioengineering as a postdoctoral associate in January 2008 where she has studied stem cell differentiation for cardiac repair. She has served as an assistant professor in the UWM electrical engineering department since August 2009. Dr. Ranji is closely collaborating with UW-Madison, Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), and Milwaukee VA scientists. She is also an adjunct faculty of CTSI (Clinical and Translational Science Institute) at MCW. |

| Shima Mehrvar PhD student in Electrical Engineering Spring 2016-Present E-mail: smehrvar@uwm.edu Shima received her B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran, in 2011, and M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Tehran Politechnic in 2013. Her Master’s research focused on Neural Network design for speech enhancement.Current Research: Shima is a PhD student in Biophotonics Lab, UWM. Her Research Interest includes tissue and live cell imaging with different optical techniques. |

| Farnaz Ahmadi Fall 2018-Present PhD student in Electrical Engineering E-mail: fhjr@uwm.edu Farnaz received her B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from Imam Khomeini International University, Tehran, Iran, in 2013, and M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Tehran Polytechnic, Tehran, Iran in 2016 with focus on speech processing and neural network for a voice conversion system. Her interests include Image and signal processing, Biomedical optics and fluorescence imaging. |
