About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Information Technology Management area at Lubar School of Business in University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). I graduated with a PhD in MIS from Jindal School of Management at University of Texas at Dallas.

During my doctoral years, I was very interested in the functioning and economic impact of recommender systems. I continue to remain excited about these areas even today. Recently, my research areas widened into new topics of data privacy, software support, and online advertising.

I have taught and am teaching a variety of courses. They include Introduction to Management Information Systems, Programming in Visual Basic and C#, Decision Support Systems (Business Analytics), Enterprise Resource Planning, Web Mining and Analytics.

Before joining UWM, I was an Assistant Professor in the Computer Information Systems department at College of Business, University of Louisville, Ky. Prior to that, I did a Post-doc at Gies College of Business, University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign.
